Taking decisions is never easy

It seems that I have to go through a lot of stuff before going to B School. I had informed my supervisor - he is also my guide and mentor - of my intentions to pursue an MBA around Feb 2005. But, as I could not have predicted the date on which I would be joining B School we kept the other parts open-ended. As a result, although he knows that I plan to go to ISB in April, I still need to go to Japan because the client I manage is insisting on me going there.

Further, I have been associated with my company since the last nine years or so. Apart from being attached to it simply professionally, I am also attached to emotionally. Due to this the breakup is going to be very difficult. On top of this, I have been offered the chance to take a leave of absence rather than to resign. Although I have not discussed this offer but it is adding to the confusion rather than aiding decision making. I will write about what transpired soon.
