Chicago Interview Experience

I had my Chicago Interview with an alumnus. It was more of a discussion rather than an interview. This was a very different experience compared to the experiences I have had for INSEAD, IIM and ISB interviews.

The overall purpose was to get to know me as a person, why I want to pursue an MBA, why Chicago, and my short term & long term goals. I got to explain my point of view, my motivation, etc. The alum told me about himself, his experience at Chicago, what he felt was special about Chicago, and what he had been doing since graduation.

The downside is that I do not know how I did. But does this matter? What matters more is whether I am offered admission? The wait continues...
